Fundraiser

I would like to give thanks to everyone...
And I do mean EVERYONE
who has donated even cents to us.
You may not think so but you have helped us a lot.
It brought tears of joy to know that people were out raising money for us.
The main reason is that with Casey missing work for about an entire month was/is hard on us.
I can't contact each and every one who put in work and time to help us
and that is why I am doing it here.
So yes thank you for everything.
We love and appreciate you all.
There were at least 4 or 5 fundraisers for us
and I can't express how much love we have felt and support from
each one of the fundraisers.
Sadly I only have a few pictures of one of the fundraisers.
If I had more I would have posted them all because I am glad to say
You are my family & friends.

March Fun

Today Liam had an appointment with his "Therapist"
She is suppose to come and give him physical therapy but apparently we don't quite start it til Monday.
Today there was just "planning" "setting goals".
They did however measure him and weighed him and Eliana thought it was her turn to do the same.
They were nice enough to do it to her as well and let her have a little fun.
On Monday the 8th Liam had his first appointment with Neurosurgeon.
The drive was scary because it was raining.
What can you do.
Once we were there Liam had a CT Scan.
Casey stayed in the waiting room with Eliana while I was in the room with Liam.
After the CT Scan we had an appointment with Neurosurgeon.
The CT Scan showed that Liam's ventricles had grown a little but it was to be expected because of surgery.
We are scheduled to come back later for a sonogram and what happens then

Another long week

Oh just when we thought we were done.
Exactly 24 hours after Liam was sent home we were back at the hospital.
The ER.
Ay.
The good thing is we have great friends that drove to the hospital to be with us. They also bought us food. Food is always welcomed.
They stayed with us that night for many hours and just made our night. I was so worried at the beginning. I mean we didn't think we would be back so soon.
Neither did his Neurosurgeon.
Sadly Liam had surgery to place an EVD once again and drain the fluid.
He began to vomit and became really sleepy.
That's what caused our return.
I was able to go out for my birthday during the stay.
Had a little fun.
Ate at the Cheesecake Factory after having a makeover.
Relaxing.
But all is well now and hope that our stay at home will be much longer this time.
